Master's IA Curriculum
The Computer Science Graduate Program at Norfolk State University provides quality graduate education to equip students with analytical skills, sound research experiences, and specialized training in several computer science disciplines.
There are two options for completing the MS in Computer Science:
- The Thesis Option :twenty-four credits of course work plus six credits of thesis work.
- The Project Option :thirty credits of course work plus three credits of project.
Graduates of the Master of Science in Computer Science will be able to demonstrate:
- Mastery at an advanced level of data communications, advanced operating systems, computer architecture, and algorithm analysis and design
- Proficiency in applying computing fundamentals
in several application areas.
- Mastery of a significant body of advanced course work in computing,
computational science, communication networks, or information assurance.
