Two of the requirements for this course are the completion of 9 online homework sets and 4 Practice Tests with minimum grades. Ideally, these should be done before in-class tests are taken. The following links provide sample homework and test questions:

Reasoning using Set Theory and Venn Diagrams (Minimum score: 80%)
Proportional Reasoning (Minimum score: 80%)
Consumer Topics and Financial Management (Minimum score: 80%)
Reasoning in a Geometric Context (Minimum score: 80%)
Counting Methods (Minimum score: 80%)
Probability (Minimum score: 80%)
Statistics (Minimum score: 80%)
Minimum scores are used to help determine content mastery. Students may rework questions as many times as needed in order to earn the minimum score required. Performance on each homework assignment is recorded as a Pass or Fail grade.

Elementary Probability and Statistics
Regarding the practice tests, a score of 70% or above on each test is considered passing and only 3 attempts are allowed per exam. Performance on each practice exam is recorded as a Pass or Fail grade.
Together these online assignments will contribute to 30% of the final grade for the course.
In order to access the actual online homework and tests, a MyMathLab Student Access Code must be purchased at the University’s bookstore or online at www.coursecompass.com.
