The Associate Degree program prepares students as registered nurses able to assist individuals
with self-care deficits associated with common recurring health problems. This program has two tracks: one for
individuals without prior nursing experience and one for qualified licensed practical nurses (LPNs). The
traditional track can be completed in two academic years and a Summer session. Qualified LPNs can complete the
nursing course in two semsters and one Summer session.Upon
graduation from the pre-licensure programs, individuals are eligible to take the National Coucil Licensing
Examination (NCLEX-RN) for Registered Nurses.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree has three tracks:
a second degree track for individuals with non-nursing degree, a LPN to BSN track for LPNs who have met defined
pre-requisites, and an RN to BSN track for individuals who have earned an associate degree or diploma in nursing.
Graduates of the Bachelor's Programs are prepared as generalists in the practice of professional nursing. Upon
graduation from the pre-licensure programs, individuals are eligible to take the National Coucil Licensing
Examination (NCLEX-RN) for Registered Nurses.

We offer majors, concentrations, or certificates in the disciplines of Communication Sciences Disorders,
Food Science and Nutrition, Health Services Management, and Medical Technology. A Bachelor of Science degree
is awarded in Health Services Management and Medical Technology. The Health Services Management program
additionally offers a certificate program that awards a certificate of completion. The Food Science and
Nutrition Program offers a concentration in Food Science and Nutrition with the option to receive a degree
in Chemistry or Exercise Science. The Communication Sciences and Disorder Program (CSD) is professionally
linked to the health-related training programs under the Nursing & Allied Health Department, however, this
program continues its traditional academic affiliation with the Department of English and Foreign Languages.
Therefore, students completing the CSD program earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
